Through collaboration with partner organizations, such as Parks Canada and the Ministry of Forests, the information is used to develop regulations and guide policy decisions on environmental protection, wildlife health and sustainable development. CWFS puts this knowledge and information into practice by improving our restoration practices to benefit a greater diversity of species.

WildCoast Project

The WildCoast Project is a research and monitoring initiative that was started because of concern about the potential for conflict between humans and predators, namely cougars and wolves, in our central west-coast region.
